Our Story...

In 2006, as the real estate market prepared to implode, Neal Johnson recognized he was in a unique position to be able to assemble a powerful and dynamic real estate team. He maintained that valuation and legal services, while critical in any real estate market, would be essential in the industry's future. Together with his wife, Melinda Johnson, they launched Freedom First Propertie

s. This creative combination brought together Neal’s experience in property valuation along with Melinda’s experience and training as a corporate lawyer and small business consultant. Their unique brokerage concept soon caught the attention of local homeowners, family law attorneys and investors alike. In order to meet client requests, they soon added property management and escrow divisions to their list of services. Since inception, Freedom First Properties has enjoyed substantial year after year growth. Today the company provides real estate services in Orange County and parts of Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties. Melinda and Neal attribute the success of the company to the exceptional and diverse services they can offer, to working with a team of people who love what they do and who are committed to doing the right thing, and to very loyal and satisfied customers who have become lifelong clients.

At Freedom First Properties we are heartbroken to hear the news of Charlie’s passing. Although, we are relieved in the fact that Charlie has moved on to the Kingdom of our Lord and pray he is looking down upon us and showering his family with love. We ask for prayers and lifting up of Erika and their children.

Our office is saddened, but we will move forward and not stand for the silence of Charlie and his great works. We pray that we can exemplify his courage for his faith in all of our actions, and treat everyone with opened arms and love just as he did. Charlie Kirk and his movement will only be magnified.
