On January 5, 2005, exactly 21 years ago, I opened my law office. I want to thank my loving my parents, all the great staff I have had, including Myrna, who has been with me for so many years, other attorneys that helped me thru the years, including Joe Thorpe, who teach me how to do personal injury and workers' compensation cases, and all the hundreds if not thousands of people who have placed their trust in me. Above all I want to give all the honor and glory to God because "unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain." Blessings.

El 5 de enero del 2005, hace exactamente 21 años atrás, abrí mi bufete de abogados. Quiero agradecer a mis queridos padres, a todo el excelente personal que he tenido, incluyendo a Myrna, quien ha estado conmigo durante tantos años, a los demás abogados que me han ayudado a lo largo de los años, entre ellos Joe Thorpe, quien me enseñó a llevar casos de lesiones personales y compensación laboral, y a los cientos, si no miles, de personas que han depositado su confianza en mí. In an effort to minimize the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and to protect our clients and staff from increased risk of exposure, we ask that all clients and their family members, if you have recently returned from travel outside of the U.S., been exposed to COVID-19, and/or are experiencing flu-like symptoms (including coughing, sneezing, congestion, and fever) postpone your appointment until you are 2 weeks out from returning to the U.S. or exposure to COVID-19 and you no longer have flu-like symptoms.

We also ask for clients to refrain from bringing family members and others to appointments, whenever possible. Please contact our office at 610-820-5980 with concerns or questions about whether or not to reschedule appointments.

When you arrive for your appointment, if you have a cough and/or sneezing:
Ask one of our staff for a face mask and wear the mask through out the time you are in our office
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing
Use the nearest waste receptacle to dispose of the tissue after use
Perform hand hygiene (e.g., hand washing with non-antimicrobial soap and water, alcohol-based hand rub, or antiseptic hand wash) after sneezing, coughing and/or blowing your nose
The U.S. Center for Disease Control has issued the following recommendations for controlling and minimizing the spread of the Coronavirus:
Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. When soap and running water are unavailable, use an alcohol-based hand rub with at least 60% alcohol.
Always wash hands that are visibly soiled.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

Over fifteen years ago, on January 5, 2004, I opened my office. Thank God for allowing me to stand, my wonderful parents for their unconditional help and to all my clients who have put their trust in me all this time. 🙏

Mas de quince años atrás, el 5 de enero del 2004, abrí mi oficina. Gracias a Dios por permitirme estar en pie, a mis maravillosos padres por su ayuda incondicional y a todos mis clientes que han puesto su confianza en mi todo este tiempo. 🙏

La Regla 1. 15 (a), titulada "Salvaguarda de la Propiedad", dispone, en la parte pertinente:
(A) Un abogado deberá poseer bienes de clientes o terceras personas que estén en posesión de un abogado en conexión con una representación separada de la propia propiedad del abogado. Los fondos se mantendrán en una cuenta separada mantenida en el estado en que se encuentra la oficina del abogado, o en otro lugar con el consentimiento del cliente o tercera persona. Otros bienes serán identificados como tales y debidamente protegidos. Los registros completos de tales fondos de cuentas y otros bienes se conservarán por un período de cinco años después de la terminación de la representación.

Rule 1. 15 (a), entitled "Safekeeping Property," provides, in pertinent part:
(a) A lawyer shall hold property of clients or third persons that is in a lawyer's possession in connection with a representation separate from the lawyer's own property. Funds shall be kept in a separate account maintained in the state where the lawyer's office is situated, or elsewhere with the consent of the client or third person. Other property shall be identified as such and appropriately safeguarded. Complete records of such account funds and other property shall be preserved for a period of five years after termination of the representation.
