Summer is finally here and I hope you and your kids are ready to have some fun! ☀️

McHenry County is such an amazing place to be in the summer with kids. You’ve got beach days at Crystal Lake, playing at local parks, riding bikes on the trails, hitting up the farmers markets, and of course one of the biggest highlights Harvard Milk Days is coming up soon!

There are so many great ways to get outside and make memories with your family right here at home.

If you’re spending Memorial Day weekend anywhere but right here in Algonquin, Crystal Lake, Woodstock or McHenry, you’re straight-up missing the soul of the weekend.

From Crystal Lake’s parade starting at Central High and ending with the service at Union Cemetery… to Woodstock’s heartfelt ceremony and parade on the Square.

It’s the kind of day where neighbors stand shoulder to shoulder, kids wave flags, and we all pause to honor the heroes who made it possible.
