“Recently I had some issues with my car, enough that it required me to take it to the dealership for repairs. Over the course of one month my car was in and out of the dealership’s service department (and out of my possession) for 19 full days. After spending a lot of money for parts and repairs, the following month my car suffered from the same malfunctions. After consulting with a lawyer from our LegalShield provider firm, she advised me to take my car to another dealer for a second opinion. I did, and after dropping off my car to be looked at by the other place it was revealed that the whole issue was a $35 throttle relay... so, my lawyer wrote a letter to the first dealership demanding moneys be returned to me. Within two weeks I received a refund for all the labor money I paid during those visits.”

“I got the membership in 1999 when I needed help with family law in Florida. In the middle of my legal issue I moved from FL to CA and ended up using the CA provider law firm to secure a referral lawyer in Florida. I used the 25% discount area for my nasty divorce — my (now ex) wife’s attorney was looking to get 50% to 75% of my income. Wow! So, I retained my LegalShield lawyer in FL, kept all receipts, sent them to my lawyer who presented on my behalf at the hearing and struck a deal that was fair. My ex-wife was angry because I had a lawyer and saved myself embarrassment and lies according to my attorney. The judge ruled fairly. The state had overcharged me twice and ended up having to reimburse me. Many told me I didn’t need a lawyer, but I’m so glad I didn’t listen to them. I got such a fantastic outcome that I’ve kept my LegalSheild membership all these years.”

"My family was coming back from Jamaica the same weekend as the world internet glitch a couple of months ago. Our flight from Jamaica to Miami was delayed causing us to miss our connection. American Airlines tried blaming the delay on weather to avoid covering everyone’s expenses. Once home, I called my law firm. My lawyer wrote a letter to the legal dept of American and American reimbursed my room expenses and gave us 5000 airline miles each as an apology.
