In Virginia, judges weigh 10 specific factors — from each parent's relationship with the child to caregiving history to a child's own preference (when they're old enough to express it). No single factor automatically wins the case.

One year ago, we opened our doors with a simple goal: to provide our clients with thoughtful, dedicated legal counsel they could truly rely on.

Today, we mark our first anniversary — and it's our clients, colleagues, and community who deserve the credit.
