Del Ray Pizzeria has rebranded as Del Ray Public House at 2218 Mount Vernon Avenue, retaining pizza on the menu but shifting focus to include new Southwest-inspired dishes. The restaurant also plans to introduce an Italian sausage and hot dog concept called Cubbies in the upstairs bar space.

🍽️ Del Ray restaurant owners to open concept at former pizza shop in Del Ray

Matthew Sloan and Eric Brannon, owners of Matt and Tony’s All Day Kitchen + Bar, plan to open a new restaurant, Little Birdie, at the former site of Benny DiForza’s Pizza in Del Ray. They have filed for a special use permit to include 10 outdoor dining seats and aim to operate daily with hours extending to 11 p.m. on weekends.
