141 days. 9 offers. And one seller who knew exactly what she wanted. 🔑

This one took patience.

Over the course of 141 days on the market, we received nine offers—but my seller wasn’t interested in accepting an offer simply because it was there. She was willing to wait for the one that felt right.

So we stayed the course. We continued to market the property, remained patient, adjusted when necessary, and most importantly, we didn’t panic.

And then it happened.

On Sunday we laid one of our very own to rest and I will miss her dearly. Julie was the sweetest and I wish I could hug her one last time. She was truly the light in our Alameda office. 🌹💐🕊 Rest peacefully forever in heaven. 🌹💐🕊️ 😢

Some transactions end at the closing table. Others leave you with people you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

When Josie and Maria came into my life, they were complete strangers. They entrusted me with something incredibly special—the sale of their beloved family home, a home that had been part of their family’s story for more than five decades.

This week, we officially closed that chapter. 🔑

A public-record sale of 1047 Hanover dates all the way back to 1973, when the home sold for just $22,500.

Fifty-three years. A lifetime of history within those walls.

Helping Josie and Maria bring this chapter to a close—and achieving an outcome that made them so happy—was incredibly rewarding. But somewhere along the way, something happened that I never could have anticipated.

My clients became my friends.
My friends became my family.

And Josie and Maria informed me that I am now officially their third sister. 🥹

As we celebrated the closing, I couldn’t help but think about their parents, Juan and Josephine. I can only imagine how proud they would be of their daughters for the love and care they showed in bringing their family’s chapter at 1047 Hanover to such a beautiful close. ❤️

I thought that was the beautiful ending to this story.

Until after closing, when I discovered one more detail.

That 1973 sale? It happened on August 10th. My birthday. 🫢😭

Of all the agents they could have chosen, of all the ways our paths could have crossed, these two women somehow found their way to me—and entrusted me with closing a chapter that began 53 years ago, on the very day I was born years later.

Goosebumps.

Josie & Maria, thank you for trusting me with your family home and for welcoming me into your lives. I will treasure you both—and my new title as Sister number 3—forever.
