Neil Armstrong House in Ravenna, Ohio
Armstrong was the first person to ever walk on the moon’s surface. He served as commander of the Apollo 11 mission, and on July 20, 1969, spoke the famous words “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” As a child, he spent 18 months living at 124 Elm Street in Ravenna, Ohio. He could see the moon at night through his window.
