As many have wondered what will become of Warner’s law firm, we are honored to share that the Mendenhall Law Group will carry on the torch he lit so many years ago.
Before his passing, Warner made certain that the firm would remain in capable and trusted hands. Leadership of the firm will now pass to Attorney Brian Unger, Warner’s longtime associate attorney and trusted colleague. For the past ten years, Brian has worked for the Mendenhall Law Group and side-by-side with Warner helping to lead many of the firm's most important battles. Together, they fought for employees who were wrongfully terminated because of their sincerely held religious beliefs during the COVID era, advocated for whistleblowers seeking justice, and stood up for individuals whose rights were threatened.
Those who know Brian know that his commitment to justice is genuine. Like Warner, he is passionate about helping underdogs, defending individual liberties, and ensuring that ordinary people have a strong advocate when facing powerful opponents. He understands the responsibility that comes with carrying Warner’s legacy and is committed to continuing the mission that Warner devoted his life to building.
With disability claims skyrocketing since 2021, the firm is proud to continue expanding its efforts on behalf of vaccine-injured individuals and others seeking Social Security and disability benefits. Too often, people facing serious injuries, disabilities, or life-altering circumstances are denied the assistance they desperately need. We remain deeply committed to helping these individuals navigate the appeals process and obtain the support they deserve.
The Mendenhall Law Group remains steadfast in its dedication to defending freedom, protecting constitutional rights, and standing up for those who have been wronged. Under Brian’s leadership, the firm will continue its work in employment discrimination, civil rights and constitutional litigation under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, criminal defense, municipal law, and qui tam whistleblower actions under the False Claims Act. We believe Warner would not have had it any other way.
For decades, Warner dedicated his life to standing up for the people who needed someone in their corner. Whether fighting government overreach, defending constitutional rights, advocating for medical freedom, representing those harmed by vaccine injuries, challenging unlawful mandates, or holding powerful institutions accountable, Warner built his career on a simple but unwavering principle: never stop fighting for the little guy.
While Warner’s absence leaves an immeasurable void, his mission lives on. His principles remain our principles. His fight remains our fight. His belief that every person deserves a voice, a defender, and a fair chance at justice continues to guide everything we do. His impact reached far beyond the courtroom. Across Ohio and throughout the nation, countless individuals found hope, justice, and a voice because Warner was willing to take on battles that others would not. His passion, courage, and commitment to liberty inspired not only his clients, but also everyone privileged enough to work alongside him.
Warner may no longer be with us, but the work he began will continue. The torch has been passed, and we will honor his legacy by carrying it forward with the same conviction, courage, and relentless dedication that defined his life.
