What we do
At Kampala Legal Aid, we strive to attend to the specialized needs of our business clients whatever they may be. We offer the following services;
a) Structure of businesses and company secretarial services. c) Intellectual property guidance. d) Legal advisory services: structuring transactions, structuring financing, management of inter-related roles of office bearers in their organizations. e) Commercial awareness: Keeping our clients up to speed with business news of a legal nature which affects their respective industries. f) Mediating legal disputes and conducting negotiations. g) Court representation and debt collection. OPERATION MODEL
Kampala Legal Aid operates through existing structures, networks and partner organizations. These include:
• Existing groups that convene entrepreneurs such as Business incubators. We are currently working in Partnership with Angels Hub Limited a Business Development Centre to provide legal services to its start-ups.
• We plan to use cutting age tools of information technology such as Skype, Video Conferencing, Whatsapp, Twitter and Facebook to offer virtual counsel services to our entrepreneurs. EXPECTED RESULTS
• 80% success business growth, expansion and competitiveness.
• An average of 2,000 jobs created from the success of the targeted enterprises.
• Average of over 100% increase in income levels of beneficiary entrepreneurs.
• To become the largest and most active online legal portal in Uganda with a monthly reach of 150,000 individuals and make basic reliable legal advice of a business nature available to the most ordinary citizens
