Yuen-Li Liang International Law Center 本中心係為帶動我國法學院對於國際法及跨國界法律問題之教學與研究活動?

隨著全球化時代的來臨，跨國關係愈趨密切且複雜，全球化時代培育具有能力處理跨國法律事務與解決相關法律問題的人才，已經是各國法律教育的重點與核心任務。近年來各國許多重要法學院如英國、荷蘭、美國、加拿大等皆已成立跨國界法律問題相關之研究中心，以培育處理跨國法律事務人才，並從事相關研究、教學與學術交流。對於台灣而言，培育具有能力處理跨國法律事務與解決相關法律問題之人才，應是法律教育的重點與核心任務；我國多年來法律教育改革議題與方向難有共識的情況下，思考如何在傳統法律教育的框架下，達到培育具有宏觀視野與能力處理跨國法律事務的法律人，實為我國法律教育當務之急。但整體而言，目前國內仍未有一以此目的而成立之研究中心或交流平台，為有效掌握當今跨國界之法律議題、整合相關之研究、支援教學以及推廣國際法知識與學術之發展，東吳大學法學院規畫成立【梁鋆立國際法研究中心】，期望該研究中心之運作能進一步使東吳大學法學院國際法發展更具特色及深厚研究實力。該中心之設立與推廣，將有助於建立我國對於國際法及跨國界法律問題之學術研究之特色，並推動相關之國際學術交流。
