The Caribbean Academy for Law and Court Administration (CALCA) is the educational arm of the Caribbean Court of Justice and administered by a Management Committee under the ultimate authority of the President of the Court. CALCA is integral to the work of the CCJ and has as its main objectives the advancing of knowledge, training and research in the practical application of Law, especially Interna
tional Law, and of the Administration of Justice in the Caribbean context. Using various modes of delivery, the Academy develops co-ordinates and facilitates seminars, workshops, exchanges, and special lectures, as the primary vehicles for achievement of its objectives. The CALCA Management Committee comprises the Honourable Mr Justice Winston Anderson (Chair), the Honourable Mr Justice Jacob Wit (Ranking Member) and Ms Jacqueline Graham (Registrar and Chief Marshal). Ms Susan Medina provides secretarial and administrative support. The Committee is responsible to the President for conceptualizing, keeping under review, and giving effect to the objectives of the Academy.
