ขณะนี้ จังหวัดกระบี่อยู่ระหว่างเตรียมจัดตั้ง "คลินิกโรงแรม" เพื่อให้คำแนะนำและอำนวยความสะดวกแก่ผู้ประกอบการในการดำเนินการขอใบอนุญาตให้ถูกต้องตามกฎหมาย พร้อมทั้งเตรียมลงพื้นที่ตรวจสอบธุรกิจที่พักประเภทต่าง ๆ เช่น

• โรงแรม
• บังกะโล
• โฮมสเตย์
• และที่พักในลักษณะเดียวกัน

หากธุรกิจของท่านยังไม่ได้ดำเนินการขอใบอนุญาตโรงแรม หรือใบอนุญาตที่พักที่เกี่ยวข้องตามกฎหมาย แนะนำให้รีบดำเนินการและเตรียมเอกสารโดยเร็ว เพื่อให้ธุรกิจเข้าสู่กระบวนการขออนุญาตอย่างถูกต้อง

📢 Krabi Update

The Governor of Krabi Province is preparing to launch a new initiative called the "Hotel Clinic", aimed at assisting accommodation operators in obtaining the proper licenses required by law. At the same time, the authorities are expected to begin inspections of accommodation businesses, including:

• Hotels
• Bungalows
• Homestays
• And other similar types of accommodation

If your business has not yet applied for a hotel license or any other required accommodation license, we strongly recommend that you begin the application process and prepare the necessary documents as soon as possible.

Operating an accommodation business without the appropriate license, or without having started the licensing process, may lead to legal or administrative issues if your business is inspected by the relevant authorities.

In practice, if you have already submitted your application and your license is under review, the authorities will be able to verify that your business is in the process of obtaining the required approval. This is generally viewed more favorably than taking no action at all.

"I Don't Want My Relatives Overseas to Inherit My Assets in Thailand."

This was the concern of one of our foreign clients who came to us for estate planning.

Our client had lived in Thailand for many years and wished to leave their assets in Thailand to their long-term Thai partner, who had cared for them throughout their life.

At the same time, the client had already prepared a separate will in their home country, leaving their overseas assets to their relatives.

Thailand Cancels 60-Day Visa Exemption for Nationals of 93 Countries

The Cabinet Halts Fast-Track Policy! Thailand Revokes 60-Day Visa-Free Entry for 93 Countries, Returning to Previous Rules
(19 May 2026) Mr. Surasak Phancharoenworakul, Minister of Tourism and Sports, announced after the Cabinet meeting that the Cabinet has approved the cancellation of the 60-day visa exemption scheme for tourists from 93 countries. The government will also revoke special criteria allowing certain nationalities to receive multiple visa privileges and will return to the previous standard regulations, under which most visitors will be permitted to stay in Thailand for no longer than 30 days.
The move is intended to improve the management and screening of foreign nationals entering the country.

A government source stated that the measure is part of a proactive policy review aimed at balancing tourism revenue generation with tighter monitoring of foreigners who may illegally work in Thailand. This aligns with the Immigration Bureau’s policy emphasizing stricter screening and security measures.

Officials believe that reverting to the previous rules will not significantly affect Thailand’s tourism industry, as other facilitation measures for tourists will continue to remain in place.
