ATTENTION: Beginning October 1, 2020, the US Embassy in Bangkok will resume routine nonimmigrant visa services for all visa categories. The number of visa interviews per day will be limited to ensure social distancing. Furthermore, the US Embassy is currently addressing its backlog of cases, namely those applicants whose interview appointment was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The US Embassy Visa Unit will be in direct contact with applicants currently eligible to reschedule their interview appointment.

U.S. visa health check

- Health Check-ups are only done when you receive an interview date from the Ambassador Council.
- Health check such as lung check, urine, blood etc.
- hospital for health check-up is bumrunrat hospital and bnhz hospital.
- documents used for health examination such as passport photos, documents, appointment date, etc.
- Health Check-up period is about 2-3 hours. Waiting period is about 2-3 days.

Financial qualifications of k-1 VISA SPONSOR
- Thai K-1 Visa applicants do not need to show financial evidence.
- American sponsors must show proof of finance such as work certificate or tax proof etc.
- in case of non-Occupational American sponsors must show evidence to prove financial supporters to Thai fiancé.
- in Thailand, co-sponsor is not allowed for k-1 VISA.
