Our Story

Background Somlegal Services is a law firm established in mid 2012 to provide legal services to corporate, commercial and private sector. In 2015, SOMELEGAL brought together professional legal practitioners with in-depth knowledge and working experience in the legal systems and the political cultures in horn of Africa nations and societies, and turned into full service law firm to provide professional, effective and efficient legal advice and consultancy services to its clients in not only in the business and private sector, but also to its clients engaging in the public sector and international development in the Region Our team of lawyers at Somlegal Services constitutes the largest Law Firm in the Somaliland. We have a wide variety of in-house expertise and specializations. Our Team of lawyers are very familiar with the legislations, policies/regulations and administrative decrees applied to business and private sector in both Somaliland and Somalia. We also understand the local culture, and local perspectives of business and corporate regulations in the region. And this enables SOMLEGAL to provide effective and efficient services to our clients in the business and provide sector in the region. Our team of lawyers have working experience in international development projects and programmes supporting legal and institutional reform in the justice and the business sector in Somaliland and Somali as well. In working in the sector, our lawyers have acquired knowledge and experience which placed SOMLEGAL the best and capable law firm in te region to provide reliable legal consultancy services to both public sector institutions and their international development partners to establish a common understanding they need to design and implement development programs and reform methods that reflect from the legal and justice reform needs and priorities of the targeted beneficiaries, and hence, to contribute to the wellbeing of the individual citizens and societies thereto.
