If you’re buying to live in, love the location and can comfortably afford it, go ahead. There’s nothing wrong with buying new.
If you’re buying for capital gains, look at the data first.
Real example from 2018, at a similar budget:
🏙️ Jadescape (new launch): $1.324M for a 2-bedroom, now ~35% gain
🌳 Nearby resale condo: $1.36M for a 3-bedroom, now ~69% gain
Same entry price, a bigger unit, and almost double the gain.
A good property isn’t just about what you buy. It’s about how well you can exit.
