We are sincerely thankful to JPMorganChase for once again naming HWA as a beneficiary of the JPMorganChase Corporate Challenge Singapore held on 16 April 2026, and for welcoming our members to be part of this vibrant event.

Our members thoroughly enjoyed the Challenge, taking in the energetic atmosphere alongside JPMorganChase staff. It was a meaningful and enjoyable experience, and everyone appreciated the opportunity to be active while being part of the wider community.

After the Challenge, our members spent the rest of the evening enjoying the post‑event activities, followed by a hearty dinner and quality time connecting with one another. Thank you, JPMorganChaseJPMorganChase for your continued support and hospitality in creating a welcoming and inclusive experience for our members.

Moving Forward Together, Stronger as One

Our 42nd Wheel, Walk or Jog (WWJ) 2026 was held on Saturday, 18 April at The Kallang, OCBC Square bringing together beneficiaries, families, volunteers, partners, and supporters for a day of community, connection, movement and lots of fun where there were game stalls.

We were honoured to have Member of Parliament for Jalan Besar GRC (Whampoa), Mr. Shawn Loh grace the event as our Guest of Honour. His arrival was warmly welcomed by a lively and energetic performance from our very own HWA Drumming Group, featuring our members.

Thereafter, Mr Loh officiated the flag-off for WWJ, where beneficiaries, families, volunteers, partners, and supporters set off together to wheel, walk, and jog around the atmospheric venue in a vibrant display of unity and community spirit.

Shawn Loh, thank you Sir for joining us at WWJ 2026. We appreciate your presence and support!

Not forgetting our dedicated partners, corporate and student volunteers and generous donors, we want to shout a big thank you to you too for your continued support, which makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our beneficiaries.

To everyone who joined us—thank you for being part of WWJ 2026. Your presence and participation made the day truly memorable.

Thank you, everyone!

A glimpse into Rizal’s life.
When life takes an unexpected turn, everything changes.

After a motorbike accident left him paralyzed from the chest down, Rizal was cared for by his father into his 80s. Following his father’s passing, he now relies on his 76-year-old mother for care. The future can feel uncertain.

At HWA Whampoa, Rizal undergoes rehabilitation to prevent muscle deterioration, along with support for essential equipment such as his wheelchair and adjustable bed.

If this story resonates with you, please like, subscribe, and share to help more people learn about HWA’s services and the individuals we support.
