Having carved a career for himself in the events and entertainment industry for close to ten years, Eric knows the balance between fun and pushing himself to reach milestones, goals, and surpassing client expectations. Working close to the ground and moving up the ranks, his experience and understanding of the event and entertainment industry led him to start a business of his own, moving from over-used crew member to dangerous competition in one fell swoop. As his own boss, Eric saw his income double, and the business was proving itself profitable. From an employee doing his bosses’ bidding, Eric was bitten by the business bug, and grew his company in a short span of 2 years. Knowing that he would need resources in his new venture, Eric brought with him $40,000 as capital, to kick-start his career in real estate. In the first 9 months, with hard work, dedication, and against the steep learning curve, Eric found that he had earned $30,000 – an amount not to be scoffed at, for a new Salesperson – but it was a $10,000 loss against the amount he had sunk in. Worried, anxious, and still learning, he mat an old friend by chance in a gathering, and realised that he could bring his career to the next level with another direct, and decisive switch.
