The NUS Law Mooting & Debating Club (MDC) is a student-led organization dedicated to promoting oratorical skills and the passion for mooting, debating and advocacy among law students . Many distinguished members of the legal profession, including senior counsel and judges, were once top mooters at NUS. Every year, MDC organises a variety of different moots in collaboration with Singapore's leading

law firms, including, the BA Mallal Moot (Allen & Gledhill), the Drew & Napier Advocacy Cup, WongPartnership International Commercial Arbitration Moot and the Gowling WLG IP Moot. Jessup Moot, Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot, Nuremberg Moot Court Competition, Asia Cup, International Maritime Arbitration Moot, Oxford IP Moot and many others. MDC also regularly organises structured talks and workshops, conducted by experienced seniors, MDC alumni and practicing lawyers to increase the quality of our mooters and provide valuable opportunities for students to refresh and polish their skills.

Case closed! ⚖️🏆

After weeks of intense preparation and rigorous oral rounds, the 18th WongPartnership International Commercial Arbitration Moot (ICAM) 2026 has officially come to a close.

Huge congratulations to our Champion, Chin Guan Wei, for an incredible performance in the final!
