Today, we shared with The Straits Times and other media the findings from a survey of 1,533 HDB owners conducted by PropNex.
Two findings caught my attention:
• 73.9% said their current flat still meets their needs, yet 55.1% still hope to own a private home one day.
• Surprisingly, more respondents expect HDB resale prices to fall in the next 12 months than private property prices: 32.7% compared with 24.7%.
The research raises some interesting questions, whether you plan to stay in your current home, are thinking of selling or are preparing for your next purchase.
