Here are some mistake you shouldn't make. If you are thinking about buying a new house, you must know how much your home is worth. You should compare different home loan packages available in the market. Don't just settle for whatever home loan package is offered to you because it is the only one you can afford. It is a good idea to save as much money as you can. This will help you to make a big down payment on a new house. The amount of money you put down in your down payment is the only thing you should spend. Make sure that you have enough funds for the down payment. If you do not have enough cash on hand, you should ask for a loan or take out a personal loan.

If you buy a home with low-quality renovations, it will cost you more to fix it later on. This can really ruin your finances. Most of the time, it's not easy to stick within your renovation budget. If you are spending too much money, you might have to stop your renovations for a while until your finances are better.

This is very important because if you do not stick within your renovation budget, you could end up losing money. If you are thinking about buying a house, you should try to find a property that you can afford. You can then work on a plan that works best for you. Some people like to fix up a house they already own, but others prefer to buy a house that needs a bit of fixing up. New cooling measures!

Private home owners will have to wait 15 months to purchase a home on the resale market. Given that demand is still high despite the government's most recent measures, which were made last month, HDB has chosen to implement a new cooling mechanism that targets private property buyers. Along with increasing the COE quota, HDB has also increased the maximum loan amounts available to individual buyers. As a result, if you recently obtained your first mortgage and your current mortgage permits you to borrow $5 million more than this new maximum, you might only be eligible for an additional $3 million!
