Is there a way to filter through the noise and find a good property investment deal?

Well, this is one method that I use to spot potential deals for my clients and it's called The Developer's ABSD effect.

1. Real estate developers face an ABSD charge if they fail to develop and sell all units in their development within five years of land acquisition date.

2. If the deadline is not met, affected developers will have to pay a hefty ABSD charge with accrued interest.

3. To avoid this, developers may offer discounts or incentives, engage in aggressive marketing, or lower prices as we have seen recently with certain projects.

My hubby attended some talk about REIT, investments etc yesterday night and was sharing with me what he had learnt, sharing with me about sure-win investment. I have something more interesting to share with you if real estate an almost sure-win investment in the long run?

A famous real estate proverb states that: "Time in market is more important than timing the market".

It is human nature for investors to try to time their entry in the hopes of enjoying greater odds of profiting and avoid losses.
