Upon one's demise without a Will, the decease's estate will be subjected to Singapore Intestate Succession Act (ISA)

Do you know that under the ISA, only LEGITIMATE children can inherit the estate?

Legitimate means:
- Children born within wedlock (lawful marriage)
- Legally adopted children
- Children who have been given legitimation

Children (stepchild) from the previous marriage(s) are not included
unless legally adopted. The legal process requires the other set of the parent to give up parental right.

However, through a Will, provisions can be made to address such needs.
