And with that, the 33rd edition of Willem C. Vis Moot Court has come to an end!

During this past week in Vienna, we have experienced the most intense and the most rewarding time of our academic path, coronating six months of hard work, numerous pleadings and unforgettable moments. The people we met, the perspectives we gained and the bonds we formed will be forever cherished!

Now, as we look back at our journey, we cannot help but feel nostalgic and grateful for the unique adventure we had the chance to be part of and proud of everything we have accomplished!
We could not have done it without our amazing coaches, who have been our constant support, guiding and helping us navigate through all of our ups and downs!

We thank each and everyone who has been part of our memorable experience and for offering us the opportunity to be one page in the Willem C. Vis record!

And… that’s a wrap!
This weekend, a part of our team attended the Belgrade Pre-Moot, adding a final touch to their arguments and pleading skills. We thank the organizers for hosting such a wonderful event and we are grateful for all the teams that we had the chance to meet!
In just a couple of days, the whole team will be jumping on a plane to Vienna, packing all the valuable lessons we have learned during these amazing months!

Last Friday, our team had the privilege of visiting Clifford Chance Badea for an insightful round of pleadings.

Andreea Mitroi and Laura Costea, together with Bláithín Dockery and Lauren Park, attorneys in the Clifford Chance London office, have provided our mooties with valuable perspectives, feedback and suggestions, marking another important step in our road towards Vienna!

We had the great opportunity to meet with the team at Țuca Zbârcea & Asociații to discuss the legal issues raised by this year’s Vis Moot problem.

The meeting was a valuable experience, giving us the chance to exchange ideas and gain practical insights into international arbitration.

Many thanks for the openness and support, and a special thank you to Cornel Popa and Maria Avram for their time and thoughtful feedback.

As the journey to Vienna continues, a part of our pleaders attended the Prague Pre-Moot this weekend, marking an important step in preparing the oral arguments and developing new and interesting connections!
Next stop: Belgrade! We are looking forward to everything that lies ahead of us!
