Year in review | Partnerships

As the year is coming to a close, we bring you a short reminder of what partnerships meant for Mic, Ilie & Asociații in 2021.

1. We've started the year with the launch of VoteStream, an electronic voting protocol that promises ballot-counting transparency, anonimity of the voter and a user-friendly interface that is perfectly adaptable to your organisation’s needs for both online and hybrid meetings that require shareholders or members to participate in the decision-making process by casting their votes.

2. After that came Forumul Studenților Români de Pretutindeni, a project designed to bring together Romanian students from everywhere in order to discuss the current socio and economical problems. was organized with the help of the Departamentul pentru Dezvoltare Durabilă and was recently showcased at the Romanian Pavilion during the Expo 2020 Dubai.

3. Our last major partnership of the year was International Medical Students' Summit of Bucharest, an anniversary edition of the International Medical Students' Congress of Bucharest, that brought together medical students from around the world in a hybrid format. Amongst the speakers were: Nobel Laureate Prof. Randy W. Practical cross-border insight into Romanian law for digital business – 2021 ICLG Edition

SLV Legal, Pelinari&Pelinari - Societatea Civila de Avocati Bucuresti and Mic, Ilie & Asociații worked together with International Comparative Legal Guides (ICLG) for the second edition of the Digital Business 2021 guide, offering a practical view into digital business laws and regulations for Romania.

Alexandru Stănescu (SLV Legal), Andrei Pelinari (Pelinari & Pelinari), Stelian Mic (Mic, Ilie & Asociații) and Tudor Velea (SLV Legal) worked together previously on cross-border tech projects and they share their knowledge for the ICLG Romania chapter. Tax treatment of digital business received strategic input from Oana Rada (Darian DRS Tax).

3 months paid internship for 3 students

Consortium Legal (formed by Iordache Partners and Mic, Ilie & Asociații) offers you 3 months (extendable) paid internship in our firms.

We’re proposing an all-around seat, meaning that you will experience different practice areas and tasks, such as, Corporate, M&A, Regulatory, Digital & Fintech, Dispute Resolution, Aviation etc.

For the internship we have 3 openings for 3rd and 2nd year graduates, irrespective of the Law Faculty.

We deeply value creativity and communication and in order to apply you have to:

1. Send us a short description of yourself (try to avoid standard formats; a picture or a public profile link would help)

2. Put yourself in the shoes of a Managing Partner and send us a draft informing one of the Associates at the Firm that they will no longer work with you. (You’re free to choose the termination causes, format, approach and further actions)

FSRP x DOF Group

This one is for the history books.

Cea mai amplă colaborare de până acum a adus împreună Liga Studentilor Romani din Strainatate - LSRS, FASMR - Federaţia Asociaţiilor Studenţilor în Medicină din România, Uniunea Studenților din România (USR), UN Youth Romania, DOF Group, Votestream și Mic, Ilie & Asociații pentru Forumul Studenților Români de Pretutindeni.

Forumul Studenților Români de Pretutindeni reprezintă un proiect de mare amploare, prin care se dorește reuniunea studenților români din țară și din străinătate, pentru a dezbate teme de importanță atât pentru societatea românească, cât și pentru generația noastră. Propunerile finale vor alcătui o Rezoluție, ce va fi înaintată ministerelor din Guvern și autorităților române.

We partnered with International Medical Students' Congress of Bucharest in order to provide legal assistance to the first cinematic digital medical congress.

IMSCB 2020 brought together 130 events pre-recorded in 4k UHD and delivered the knowledge of 140 speakers to 68 countries. It was one of the largest digital events breakthrough in Europe.

Moreover, the interactive events were watched by 900+ people from the comfort of their homes.

To help them achieve this, MIA provided assistance in matters regarding data protection, internal policies and data usage.
