🇵🇹 A Lei n.º 49/2026, de 17 de agosto é uma autorização legislativa que habilita o Governo, em 180 dias, a criar um processo especial urgente para vender imóveis em herança indivisa, a substituir a unanimidade por maioria simples na administração da herança, a consagrar o testamenteiro com poderes de partilha e a arbitragem sucessória, e a reduzir de dez para dois anos o prazo para aceitar a herança — aplicando-se, em regra, às heranças já abertas e ainda não partilhadas
🇬🇧 The Law No. 49/2026, of August 17, is a legislative authorisation that enables the Government, in 180 days, to create an urgent special process to sell real estate in undivided inheritance, to replace unanimity by simple majority in the administration of the inheritance, to consecrate the testator with powers of division and succession arbitration, and to reduce the deadline for accepting the inheritance from ten to two years - applying, as a rule, to inheritances already opened and not yet shared.
