▫️Why Warsaw?

Let's start with the fact that my brother was already in Poland when I joined him here in 2013

▫️You may ask why?

I love and value my family and so I moved here to be closer to them. The added benefit of being in Warsaw is accessible travel to the rest of Europe.

▫️What did I do in Warsaw? What problems are you solving?

While I was in Warsaw our office prepared and submitted the following applications:

Study Permits, Judicial Reviews, Travels Visas (TRVs), Intra Company Transfers, Express Entry, PNPs, Super Visas, Spousal Applications and Certification of Documents (Medical Council of Canada).

We assisted clients from Poland, Germany, Philippines, Israel, Ukraine, India, Pakistan, Belarus, Turkey, England, Italy etc.

I also had many meetings (and online and offline) and presentations about business and immigration. Some of the presentations were with the Canadian Embassy in Warsaw in different cities of Poland.

▫️What am I doing in Warsaw now?

Over the years I have honed and developed my expertise in the following areas:

Study Permits, Judicial Reviews, Travels Visas (TRVs), Express Entry, PNPs, and Certification of Documents.

I hope you have enjoyed a brief summary of my professional journey in Poland thus far.

A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a document that an employer in Canada may need to get before hiring a foreign worker.
A positive LMIA will show that there is a need for a foreign worker to fill the job. A positive LMIA is sometimes called a confirmation letter.
If the employer needs an LMIA, they must apply for one.
Before you start the hiring process, you must determine if you need an LMIA.
An LMIA confirms
• there is a need for a temporary foreign worker
• no Canadians or permanent residents are available to do the job
Most employers need an LMIA before they can hire a temporary foreign worker and employers must pay a processing fee of 1,000 CAD for each request for an LMIA application. There is also be an additional $100 privilege fee on employers charged by Employment and Social Development Canada.
