How interesting… so today our client - with whom we applied on June 26th 2026 to the Masovian Immigration Office got negative decision for his citizenship application as he is not in Poland 10 years yet. In opinion of the Immigration Office we want to abuse the system and benefit of delays of the Immigration office as we applied earlier - Our clients from 2025- got 2 years deadline .

It is sad especially because same office reject to speed up process answering that there is very few employees, ppl are equal, should wait in the queue , same queue. So now, some applicants got priority? Also, same office do not make copies of documents and basically freeze the process because person wants to speed up and goes to court.

On Friday, the Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA) upheld our appeal regarding recognition as a Polish citizen, thereby overturning the decision of the Masovian Voivode and recognizing our client as a citizen of the Republic of Poland. The client had been outside Poland for over 800 days (over a 10-year period) due to a posting outside the EU. The voivode dismissed our argument, pointing out that posting is not a business trip. The applicant must perform work directly, and in the case of posting, this is not considered direct work. Meanwhile, the MSWiA accepted our argument.
