⚠️Important update on the so-called “Covid Extensions” :

😷 During the pandemic, the government had decided to automatically extend the visas or residence cards of foreigners living in Poland.

📆From the 24th of August, this measure will no longer be in effect. So please remember to file your applications before this date.

🇷🇺Up until recently, Russian citizens had been allowed to work in Poland without a work permit for a duration of 24 months. Registering a declaration of entrusting work by the employer was the only requirement on their part. It was a very quick and effective way of getting legal work in Poland.

👨‍⚖️Due to the current situation in Ukraine, on the 28th October the Polish Ministry of Family and Social Policy decided to exclude Russian citizens from the nationalities which can enjoy this option.

📑It is important to note however thretain their rights until their declarations expire.

🌍Declaration of entrusting work still remains accessible for citizens of: Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.

What should Russians citizens do if they desire to work legally in Poland? For now, the only solution is to apply for a work permit or a combined work & residence permit. Here To Stay can help you in such procedures.
