Strongly condemn the alleged disrespectful conduct faced by our Joint Secretary, Mr. Sheezan Yousif, at the ITSC, University of Sindh. APLA District Thatta stand firmly with him and fully support his legitimate concern. I request the concerned authorities to look into the matter fairly and ensure that students are treated with dignity and respect.

""Concise Matter of Injustice""

For the past several months, Mudassar Taro Member of All Pakistan Law Association District Thatta cabinet, a law student and his family have allegedly been subjected to continuous harassment, threats, intimidation, and false criminal proceedings by certain individuals, including their relatives and associates. Serious threats to their lives and safety have allegedly been made, while false FIRs and cases have also been initiated against them.
The opposing party has allegedly created a hostile situation concerning land and property and has repeatedly threatened Mudassar Taro and his family with serious consequences. Despite their efforts to resolve the dispute through respectable elders and local reconciliation, the agreed decisions have allegedly been violated, and the harassment has continued.
The matter has now occurred again, causing further distress and injustice to Mudassar Taro and his family. Despite approaching the police and seeking legal protection, effective action has allegedly not been taken, while attempts are being made to involve Mudassar and his family in false cases.
*This continued situation has adversely affected their safety, livelihood, employment, and the education of their children.
We therefore request the competent authorities to take immediate and impartial action, investigate the matter fairly, provide protection to Mudassar Taro and his family, and ensure that no innocent person is subjected to harassment, threats, or false criminal proceedings.*

Strong Condemnation of Delay in LL.B (Hons) Examinations

APLA - SINDH strongly condemn the continued and unexplained delay in conducting the annual examinations of 5-Year LL.B (Hons) students of the affiliated law colleges of the University of Sindh.

The examinations were expected to be held in June 2026, but we are now at the end of August, and unfortunately, no official examination schedule has yet been announced. Such an unnecessary delay is a matter of serious concern and is causing immense anxiety and uncertainty among law students.

This delay is adversely affecting their academic progress, future semesters, internships, professional commitments, and overall career planning. Students cannot be left in uncertainty regarding their academic future.

On behalf of the APLA Sindh , I urge the University of Sindh and the concerned examination authorities to:
• Immediately announce the LL.B (Hons) examination schedule.
• Clearly explain the reasons for the prolonged delay.
• Provide students with a definite and reliable examination timeline.
• Take immediate measures to ensure that the academic year is not further disrupted.

Law students are the future of our legal profession. Their academic time and careers must be treated with seriousness, responsibility, and transparency.

We demand timely examinations, transparency, and responsible academic management. The University authorities must take immediate notice of this serious issue and announce the examination schedule without any further delay.

اجلاس ۾ ايندڙ وقت ۾ ضلعي ٺٽي ۾ قانوني ويهڪن، علمي سيشنن، سيمينارن ۽ آگاهي پروگرامن جي انعقاد بابت پڻ تفصيلي صلاح مشورا ڪيا ويا، ته جيئن قانون جي شاگردن ۾ علمي شعور، تحقيقي لاڙو ۽ پيشاور صلاحيتن کي هٿي ملي. گڏجاڻي ۾ ان عزم جو پڻ اظهار ڪيو ويو ته آل پاڪستان لا ايسوسيئيشن (APLA) ضلعو ٺٽو نه صرف قانوني تعليم ۽ شاگردن جي ڀلائي لاءِ ڪم ڪندي پر ضلعي جي سياسي، سماجي ۽ علمي ماحول کي بهتر بڻائڻ نوجوانن ۾ مثبت سوچ کي هٿي ڏيڻ،ئ قانون جي بالادستي بابت شعور اجاگر ڪرڻ ۽ سماج ۾ مثبت تبديلي آڻڻ لاءِ پڻ پنهنجو تعميري ۽ ذميواراڻو ڪردار ادا ڪندي اجلاس جي پڄاڻي تي سمورن عهديدارن ان ڳالهه تي اتفاق ڪيو ته ضلعي ٺٽي ۾ تنظيم کي وڌيڪ فعال ڪرڻ نون قانون جي شاگردن کي تنظيم سان ڳنڍڻ ۽ گڏيل مشاورت ذريعي مستقبل ۾ وڌيڪ مؤثر پروگرام منعقد ڪيا ويندا جيئن قانون جي شاگردن جي صلاحيتن ۾ واڌارو اچي ۽ ضلعي ۾ هڪ صحتمند علمي ۽ قانوني ماحول کي فروغ ملي.

The Hyderabad District Bar Association has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with All Pakistan Law Association Sindh (APLA-SINDH) to promote legal education, professional development, legal awareness, and advocacy training for Advocates and law students.

Under this collaboration, both organizations will jointly organize law conferences, legal drafting workshops, educational seminars, awareness sessions, moot court activities, and other academic and professional programs for the legal fraternity.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Ashar Majeed Khokhar, President, DBA Hyderabad; Mr. Masood Rasool Babar Memon, General Secretary, DBA Hyderabad; Mr. Zuhaib Hassan Buriro, Chairman, APLA-Sindh; and Mr. Haibat Ali Chachar, President, APLA-Sindh, along with representatives of both organizations.

On this occasion, the Hyderabad District Bar Association nominated Mr. Haji Ayoob Soomro, Library Secretary, DBA Hyderabad, as the Focal Person for coordination and implementation of activities under the MoU.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by members of the legal fraternity, senior advocates, and representatives of both organizations.
