Islamian Lawyers Forum

The Islamian Lawyers Forum strongly condemns the reported abduction of Advocate Ali Zaman allegedly by unidentified persons in vehicles without number plates. Such incidents reflect a disturbing state of lawlessness and are an attack on the rule of law.
Targeting a member of the legal fraternity is completely unacceptable. Lawyers are the protectors of constitutional supremacy, fundamental rights, and access to justice. Any attempt to harass, intimidate, or abduct them is an attack on the justice system itself.
We demand that the concerned authorities take immediate steps for the safe and early recovery of Advocate Ali Zaman and bring those responsible to justice without delay.
The Islamian Lawyers Forum stands in full solidarity with the family, colleagues, and the entire legal community. If swift action is not taken, the legal fraternity reserves the right to adopt lawful measures of protest.

آج اسلامین لائرز فورم کی ایگزیکٹو کونسل کا ایک اہم اجلاس منعقد ہوا، جس میں ایگزیکٹو کونسل کے تمام ارکان نے بھرپور شرکت کی۔ اجلاس کا باقاعدہ آغاز تلاوتِ کلامِ پاک سے ہوا۔ اجلاس کا واحد ایجنڈا الیکشن الائنس سے متعلق حالیہ صورتحال تھا، جس کے تناظر میں جنرل سیکرٹری اسلامین لائرز فورم کی جانب سے جاری کردہ پریس ریلیز اور اس کے نتیجے میں جاری ہونے والے شوکاز نوٹس پر تفصیلی غور و خوض کیا گیا۔
اجلاس کے دوران ایگزیکٹو کونسل نے الائنس کے حالیہ فیصلے کے حوالے سے رابطے میں پیدا ہونے والی خرابی کا اعتراف کیا۔ صدر اسلامین لائرز فورم نے ایگزیکٹو کونسل کو یقین دہانی کرائی کہ آئندہ فیصلہ سازی کا عمل مزید جامع، مشاورتی اور شفاف بنایا جائے گا۔
تفصیلی بحث و تمحیص کے بعد متفقہ طور پر اس نتیجے پر پہنچا گیا کہ جنرل سیکرٹری صاحب کی جانب سے جاری کردہ پریس ریلیز محض ایک غلط فہمی کا نتیجہ تھی، اور اسی بنیاد پر جاری کیا گیا شوکاز نوٹس بھی غلط فہمی پر مبنی تھا، جسے اب ختم شدہ تصور کیا جاتا ہے۔
شفاف اور جمہوری انداز میں منعقد ہونے والی اس میٹنگ میں ایگزیکٹو کونسل نے صدر کے احتسابی طرزِ عمل کو سراہا اور اجتماعی قیادت، اتحاد اور شفافیت کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔ فورم کے بہترین مفاد اور اراکین کے مینڈیٹ کا احترام کرتے ہوئے یہ فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ ان شاء اللہ الیکشن 2026/2027 کے لیے طے شدہ الائنس کو برقرار رکھا جائے گا اور اسے ہر صورت کامیاب بنایا جائے گا۔
ایگزیکٹو کونسل اسلامین لائرز فورم کے وقار، ساکھ اور آئین کے تحفظ کے لیے اپنے غیر متزلزل عزم کا اعادہ کرتی ہے۔ فورم اپنی اقدار، اصولوں اور آئینی دفعات پر کسی قسم کا سمجھوتہ نہیں کرے گا اور اپنی سالمیت اور ساکھ کے تحفظ کے لیے ہر ضروری اقدام اٹھاتا رہے گا۔ آئندہ اس امر کو یقینی بنایا جائے گا کہ کسی بھی سطح پر ایسی غلط فہمی پیدا نہ ہو جو فورم کے طے شدہ فیصلوں یا اتحاد کو نقصان پہنچا سکے۔
اسلامین لائرز فورم انصاف، شفافیت اور جوابدہی کے اصولوں پر کاربند رہتے ہوئے وکلاء برادری کی خدمت کا سفر پوری یکجہتی اور عزم کے ساتھ جاری رکھے گا۔

‎اسلامیہ لائرز فورم کا ایک اہم جنرل باڈی اجلاس آج پشاور بار روم میں منعقد ہوا، جس کی صدارت فورم کے صدر ہدایت اللہ آفریدی نے کی۔ اجلاس میں فورم کے چیئرمین نٽار احمد ایڈووکیٹ، کابینہ کے اراکین اور وکلاء کی بڑی تعداد شریک ہوئی۔

‎اجلاس میں آنے والے بار کونسل الیکشن کے حوالے سے تفصیلی مشاورت کی گئی۔ اس موقع پر یہ فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ فورم کی موجودہ کابینہ اپنی آئینی مدت مکمل کر چکی ہے، لہٰذا اسے جلد تحلیل کر کے نئی کابینہ کی تشکیل کے لیے ایک کمیٹی قائم کی جائے گی۔

وکلاء نے موجودہ کابینہ کو اپنی مدتِ کار کی تکمیل پر مبارکباد پیش کی اور ان کی خدمات کو سراہا۔ اجلاس میں شریک ممبران نے اس عزم کا اظہار کیا کہ نئی کابینہ کے قیام کے بعد فورم مزید فعال اور مضبوط انداز میں اپنی سرگرمیاں جاری رکھے گا۔

Peshawar High Court has suspended the detention order issued against Mr Murid Hayat who was taken into custody under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance.

We strongly condemn the illegal and unjust arrest of Advocate murid Hayat of Bannu.This blatant misuse of power is an attack not only on an individual but on the fundamental principles of justice freedom of expression and the rule of law. Silencing a brave voice like Murid Hayat through such oppressive tactics will never succeed. His voice echoes the truth, and truth cannot be imprisoned.
We demand his immediate and unconditional release. The legal fraternity stands united against this unlawful act and will continue to raise its voice until justice prevails.
