I got to hear this tragic news of martyrdom of two personnel of Military Police in Karachi. My heart goes out to the bereaved families. The nation is proud of the sacrifices of our armed forces in war against terrorism. Our people stand united to eliminate this scourge from our midst.

Our proud sister, Mariam Mukhtar, a role model for all women, Flying Officer embraced martyrdom in plane crash. Mariam was a sign of women empowerment as she was the first female fighter pilot of Pakistan Air Force (PAF). May Allah give her the highest place in Jannat and patience to her parents.
Mariam Mukhtar will always be remembered for her courage, dedication & benevolence to protect our beloved homeland. :'( :'( :'(

We strongly condemn the cowardly act of terrorists in Paris. I extend my condolence to the families of dead and injured due to this terrible incident. Dear administration of France, plz don't leave those criminal minded terrorists and give them the strongest punishment.

Martyrdom of the Suckling child, Abdullah Ibn Husain al-Asghar (Ali Asghar a.s.) - Imam Husain (a.s.) had a 6 month old suckling child in Karbala, who along with everyone else, was also thirsty since three days. Imam Husain (a.s.) saw his infant weeping due to thirst. He took him in his lap and said: "O people! If you don't pity me atleast pity this young one". Hurmula Ibn Kahil Asadi shot an arrow at the child, which pierced his neck and severed his head. Imam Husain (a.s.) wept and then said: "O Allah! I complain to You regarding how they have fared with me, my brothers, my sons and my family".
