Harassment Begins with the Eyes

Harassment does not always commence with words or physical contact—it often originates with a gaze. A stare that lingers with ill intent, that objectifies rather than respects, becomes the first silent violation of dignity.
What may appear trivial to some is, in reality, the genesis of discomfort, fear, and intimidation for women. Such intrusive looks, when persistent and suggestive, amount to a subtle yet profound form of harassment, laying the foundation for more overt misconduct.
In legal and ethical terms, any conduct—whether expressed through words, actions, or even gestures—that invades a woman’s sense of safety and personal space may constitute harassment.

Our law firm is not confined to a singular dimension of practice; rather, it thrives upon the principle of versatility, embracing the multifaceted nature of law with intellectual agility and strategic precision. We navigate across diverse legal terrains—be it civil, corporate, banking, family, or constitutional matters—with a seamless command that reflects both breadth and depth of professional competence.
This versatility is not merely a functional attribute; it is the cornerstone of our jurisprudential philosophy. It enables us to tailor legal solutions with nuance, to respond to complex challenges with innovation, and to uphold the highest standards of diligence, integrity, and client-centric representation.
In essence, we do not merely practice law—we transform it into an instrument of empowerment, where diversity becomes strength, adaptability becomes excellence, and every case is approached with a distinctive, purposeful brilliance.

Khula is a form of dissolution of marriage initiated by the wife.
Talaq (Divorce), in contrast, is a unilateral repudiation of marriage pronounced by the husband, exercised as a legal right conferred upon him under classical Islamic jurisprudence.

Khula is regarded as a judicially sanctioned dissolution when the husband does not voluntarily consent.

Talaq, however, may be affected extra judicially (subject to statutory procedural requirements in certain jurisdictions), as it originates from the husband’s declaration.

A defining characteristic of khula is the wife’s offer to return the dower (mahr) or other financial benefits received, as consideration for release from the marriage.
In talaq, the husband remains liable for:
Payment of deferred dower (if unpaid)
Maintenance during the iddat period
Other financial obligations prescribed by law

Khula, once decreed, is generally irrevocable, resulting in a final separation unless the parties contract a new marriage.

Talaq: Husband-initiated unilateral divorce, with financial liabilities resting upon him.

Partnership Act & Firm Registration
1. Partnership Act
A Partnership Act is the law that governs the formation, operation, rights, and liabilities of partnership firms.
In Pakistan, partnerships are governed by the Partnership Act 1932.

Key Features of a Partnership:
Formed by two or more persons
Based on a partnership agreement (written or oral)
Partners share profits and losses
Each partner acts as an agent of the firm
2. Registration of a Partnership Firm
Registration of a partnership firm is usually optional, but it is strongly recommended because an unregistered firm may face legal limitations (such as inability to file certain suits).
Documents Required:
Partnership Deed
CNIC/ID copies of partners
Proof of business address
Application form for registration
Registration Process:
Draft and sign the Partnership Deed
Pay stamp duty (as per local law)
Submit application to the Registrar of Firms
Obtain Certificate of Registration
3. Importance of Registration
Legal recognition of the firm
Right to file a suit against third parties
Increased business credibility
Easier to open bank accounts and obtain licenses
