𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐤-𝐞-𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐟, 𝐈𝐦𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐀𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐥, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓:
“Inflation in Pakistan has spiraled out of control since the regime change. It is deeply troubling that this time even the financially stable segments of society were unable to afford the sacrifice of a single goat; they barely managed to uphold the tradition of Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi. Meanwhile, the poor have already been crushed under the weight of economic hardship.
Now, this illegitimate government is preparing to present a budget that will only further compound the public’s suffering. Once again, two key segments will bear the brunt of this exploitative budget: salaried individuals and farmers. This fake administration has broken the backbone of the agricultural economy and the farming community. In an agrarian country, when farmers are in distress, it directly signals rising unemployment and diminishing purchasing power. The industry, for its part, is already teetering on the brink of collapse.
Following the 26th Constitutional Amendment, preparations are now underway for a 27th Amendment, intended to completely bury justice and further dishearten the people. Their aim has been to intimidate us and silence the voice of the people since day one. That is precisely why May 9th (2023) was orchestrated. I am constantly told not to demand CCTV footage of May 9th, to take responsibility for the events that I had no part in, and to accept the fraudulent government formed through Form 47 with merely 17 seats. But my entire struggle has been rooted in the supremacy of law and the Constitution.
All legal and constitutional avenues have been blocked for us, which is why I have instructed the party to prepare for a nationwide movement.
This mandate was not stolen from me, it was stolen from you. Each one of you must be part of this movement. Freedom is never handed over on a silver platter; it requires a collective struggle as a nation.
The people of Pakistan voted for us based on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s vision and ideology. The government we formed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a reflection of PTI’s support across the country. I have made it clear to Ali Amin that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa budget will not be presented without consulting with me.”
