Architect of Pakistan's Trade Dispute Resolution System with USAID Pakistan, Chemonics International, Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of Pakistan & Trade Dispute Resolution Organization.

So I provided the roadmap I was engaged for last year. After a long process of approvals and endorsements from across the board, I am now given the green light to execute on all my recommendations. It is of course very nerve wracking, but exciting at the same time. I will need you all to help me steer Pakistan's dispute resolution system in the right direction. So come aboard. Lets put our money where our mouths have been.

We are honoured to share that our Founding Partner, Syed Akbar Hussain presented the Roadmap for Pakistan’s Trade Dispute Resolution regime to the Trade Dispute Resolution Organization.

Founded under the Trade Dispute Resolution Act, 2023, Akbar was engaged by USAID Pakistan Investment Promotion Activity to lead the team as the Trade, Institutional and Legal Expert. Akbar created the plan for how trade dispute resolution can take place in Pakistan by merging international best practices and stakeholder requirements. Our stakeholders spanned all the chambers of commerce, industry associations, ministries, commissions and various other noteworthy public and private sector organisations.

The Report and Roadmap have been presented by the USAID IPA to the Federal Government for implementation. It includes the creation of ADR Centers, training of mediators and arbitrators, online and digital case management system, model rules and all other ingredients for a modern dispute resolution regime.

Of course, SAZH Consulting LLP, along with our sister concern, The ADR Initiative will continue to support and work on our future.

SAZH-TAF- FDI -FER Roundtable. The roundtable was attended by industry leaders, businessmen, legal experts, government officials, commission representatives both in person and online. The roundtable led to fruitful discussion on how to solve the foreign exchange issues of Pakistan.

We are proud to announce the SAZH-TAF FDI-FER RoundTable - Rethinking FOREX Governance and FDI in Pakistan, Unlocking New Opportunities. Based on our FDI Report which gave birth to the SAZH Liaison and Coordination Network, this Roundtable and subsequent Report will elevate our work as pioneers in Pakistan's FDI regime as well as improve the status quo of Pakistan.
