Recently, we had an opportunity to represent an e-commerce vendor facing significant financial stress due to a large logistics company withholding its hard-earned money for over two months. Despite an understanding to release payments collected via cash-on-delivery within a week, the company delayed clearing payments, held onto nearly 3 million rupees, and made false promises, releasing only small chunks of the total amount.
We stepped in and sent a carefully drafted legal notice on his behalf. Within 4 days, the logistics company cleared all outstanding dues, sparing my client the stress, time, and cost of protracted litigation.
This is a testament to the importance of a well-drafted legal notice, it can be a game-changer, compelling parties to act responsibly and often resolving disputes without stepping into a courtroom.
