On the occasion of National Minorities Day, we pay tribute to the invaluable contributions of Pakistanโ€™s minority communities to the progress, prosperity, and development of our beloved country.

Our national identity is strengthened by our diversity, and every citizen, regardless of faith or background, has an equal place in Pakistan. The Constitution guarantees the rights and dignity of all citizens, and it is our collective responsibility to uphold these principles.

As Chairman of the Prime Ministerโ€™s Youth Programme, I firmly believe that our young generation can play a vital role in promoting interfaith harmony, tolerance, mutual respect, and social cohesion.

On this important day, let us renew our commitment to building an inclusive Pakistan where every citizen has equal opportunities to learn, succeed, and contribute to the nation.

Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan

Conflict remains the leading driver of hunger.

The World Food Programme works in some of the world's most challenging environments, delivering life-saving food in emergencies and helping communities rebuild the systems they depend on.

Because peace cannot take root when people are hungry.

Building fair societies begins with protecting everyone's human rights. Few people championed that vision more powerfully than Nelson Mandela.

Human rights are woven into the fabric of everyday life - for example, in our ability to go to school, find decent work, access healthcare, have a safe place to call home, and live with dignity.

On , let us all carry Nelson Mandela's commitment forward, so that everyone, everywhere can enjoy their human rights and live with dignity.
