I express my deepest sorrow and strongest condemnation over the brutal killing of Senior Advocate Khawaja Sham-ul-Islam. His untimely and tragic death is not only a loss to his family and colleagues but also a grave blow to the legal fraternity and the principles of justice.

Mr. Khawaja was a distinguished lawyer known for his integrity, legal acumen, and unwavering commitment to the rule of law. Targeting members of the legal community is an attack on the justice system itself, and such acts must not go unpunished.

I urge the concerned authorities to take immediate and concrete steps to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure the safety of all legal professionals.

May Allah grant Khawaja Sham-ul-Islam eternal peace and give strength to his family in this time of immense grief.

Brilliant and Brave. Congratulations to Islamabad High Court for holding transparent proceedings on one of the most sensitive and volatile issues which could have easily been misrepresented by miscreants to coerce and influence the Court.

The decision to form a commission to inquire into the workings of the Blasphemy Business Gang and how the FIRs came about specially after reports from Special Branch and NCHR is most appropriate to preserve the interest of justice and fair trial of the accused.

295-C is part of the PPC and principles of transparent investigation and fair trial apply to it equally like all other offences. Those who believe that a mere allegation of blasphemy should be enough to do away with investigation and convict the accused want to exploit 295-C for personal gains. Their actions are no service to Islam as Islam mandates and demands fairness and justice.

The decision that the Commission will operate under continuous mandamus i.e. continued supervision of the High Court and that the proceedings of commission will be broadcast live should address any genuine reservations that the Commission would be rigged and/or biased. Only those who want to escape scrutiny, accountability and don't want to answer for their conspiracies and crimes will continue to insist without any proof or reason that the Commission is a disservice to Islam and result of pressure of Anti Islam forces.

This is a historical feat. Those accused of blasphemy either get lynched or if arrested struggle to find lawyers as anyone representing a blasphemy accused also faces social boycott and even death threats. Even judges presiding over trial fear for their lives. Today 100s of such victims are getting a judicially sanctioned commission for them to tell their story and establish their innocence and prove entrapment and the allegations against them as false.

Congratulations to the families of the victims who persevered and the Counsels , Advocate Anas Mashood and the Police Officers like Inspector Munir whose sincerity, courage and diligence has made this possible.

If the leadership in Iran remains, Israel will lose this war—regardless of the destruction it causes. The main objective is to install a puppet. The very name of the operation symbolises the Pahlavi Era Flag (the rising sun and the lion). The question is: will the US make Israel stop before it achieves victory? And will the rest of the world specially Europe and Middle East continue to wait, watch, and covertly facilitate Israeli attacks until that happens?

While the downing of the Rafale in the Indo-Pak war highlighted China’s military capabilities, a loss for Israel would directly diminish U.S. influence in the region. The only rational course for the U.S. is to avoid becoming a direct party to the conflict and instead intervene diplomatically—forcing Israel's hands toward a ceasefire and positioning itself as an arbiter & guarantor of peace. If for no other reason, the U.S. should do so to preserve its own strategic interests. The US' global military presence and ability to intervene anywhere at any time is what currently cements its status as a superpower.

But given where the world stands today, direct U.S. involvement would ignite multiple endless wars in the region, further dividing the U.S. internally beyond repair, create unprecedented security risks, and trigger an economic toll that could mark the beginning of the end of the US as a superpower. Israel's attack on Iran seems to have two primary objectives:

1. To demoralize the Iranian state by eliminating key military leadership and targeting its nuclear infrastructure.

2. To foment internal instability that could eventually lead to regime change, ideally installing a pro-Western government in Tehran.

However, the missiles that rained down on Tel Aviv last night may result in Netanyahu’s own exit. The genocidal maniac is also a petty thief who has long been facing investigation, indictment, and now trial on corruption charges—where he and his wife sought favors and expensive gifts from billionaires in return for political benefits from the Prime Minister’s Office.

Netanyahu has aggravated external threats by dragging Israel into one war after another to keep the masses at home distracted. His warmongering is partly a Zionist agenda, but also partly a tactic to portray himself as a strongman, making him appear essential to voters for Israel’s security. He has aligned himself with religious Zionists, offering them key ministries that not only give them effective control over Israel’s internal politics but also influence investigations involving Netanyahu himself.

Netanyahu has invited the world’s condemnation and contempt upon all of Israel, and he has provoked and fueled antisemitism through his and his administration’s pathological lies—denying the genocide of Palestinians and justifying their suffering as a prerequisite for a secure Jewish state.

It is now imperative that change comes from within Israel. As long as Netanyahu remains in power, the country will continue to spiral into conflict, repression, and international isolation. Removing him from office is not just about holding one man accountable—it's about allowing space for Israeli society to confront its realities, reverse course from extremism, and reimagine a future that does not hinge on endless war and apartheid.
