Israel's attack on Iran seems to have two primary objectives:
1. To demoralize the Iranian state by eliminating key military leadership and targeting its nuclear infrastructure.
2. To foment internal instability that could eventually lead to regime change, ideally installing a pro-Western government in Tehran.
However, the missiles that rained down on Tel Aviv last night may result in Netanyahu’s own exit. The genocidal maniac is also a petty thief who has long been facing investigation, indictment, and now trial on corruption charges—where he and his wife sought favors and expensive gifts from billionaires in return for political benefits from the Prime Minister’s Office.
Netanyahu has aggravated external threats by dragging Israel into one war after another to keep the masses at home distracted. His warmongering is partly a Zionist agenda, but also partly a tactic to portray himself as a strongman, making him appear essential to voters for Israel’s security. He has aligned himself with religious Zionists, offering them key ministries that not only give them effective control over Israel’s internal politics but also influence investigations involving Netanyahu himself.
Netanyahu has invited the world’s condemnation and contempt upon all of Israel, and he has provoked and fueled antisemitism through his and his administration’s pathological lies—denying the genocide of Palestinians and justifying their suffering as a prerequisite for a secure Jewish state.
It is now imperative that change comes from within Israel. As long as Netanyahu remains in power, the country will continue to spiral into conflict, repression, and international isolation. Removing him from office is not just about holding one man accountable—it's about allowing space for Israeli society to confront its realities, reverse course from extremism, and reimagine a future that does not hinge on endless war and apartheid.
