NEWS 📢 Visa extensions for Skilled-Recognised Graduate (subclass 476 visa holders) 😊

Current and former Skilled-Recognised Graduate (subclass 476) visa holders who lost time in Australia will have their visas extended for 24 months.

Eligible visa holders who were outside of Australia at any time between 1 February 2020 and 14 December 2021 while holding a Skilled-Recognised Graduate visa will have their visa extended until April 2024. This allows eligible visa holders an extra six months to travel to or remain in Australia.

The Department will notify visa holders of their visa extension. Visa extensions are expected to be made before the end of April 2022.

Visa holders whose visas have already expired will also be eligible if they were unable to use the full period of their original visa.

1. Currently hold or have held a Skilled-Recognised Graduate (subclass 476) visa with a grant date before 14 December 2021 and a date of expiry on or after 1 February 2020
2. Have been outside Australia at any time between 1 February 2020 and 14 December 2021
3. Not had their visa cancelled​​
