Mr. Azhar Hussain Abbasi Vice Chairman and Mr. Naeem Qureshi Chairman Executive Committee Sindh Bar Council have shown their serious concern on the price hike including huge increase in electricity bills/charges as well as petrol prices which has made the life of citizens miserable on one hand and on the other, the privilege class high officials of the government and the private sector corporation are enjoying free electricity, gas, petrol etc etc, which amounts to billions of rupees, therefore, they demanded that all such privileges of all those officials of the state or private sector enjoying free of charge facilities in respect of electricity, gas and petrol be stopped and withdrawn forthwith.

Learned Vice Chairman and Chairman Executive Committee are of the view that presently all segments of our country are grappling with these undue financial pressures which not only compound their struggles but also threaten their economic stability.

They said the present caretaker Government has failed to control the inflation and also failed to provide any relief to the citizens.

The Sindh Bar Council demands from the Care Taker Federal Government and Provincial Governments to take immediate notice of high rising inflation and take effective measures to reduce it.

As a protest and in solidarity with the majority of population, the Sindh Bar Council announced full day strike / boycott of Court proceedings throughout Sindh Province on Monday i.e. 04.09.2023.

Learned Advocates of all over Sindh are requested to adhere the decision and not to appear before any Court on 04.09.2023.

In Pursuance to the Resolution dated 18-08-2023 passed by the District Bar Association Mirpurkhas against the conduct of 1st Additional Session Judge, Mirpurkhas namely Mr. Ghulam Qadir Tunio; the Sindh Bar Council also condemned the conduct of said Judge and demanded from the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Sindh High Court to take notice and conduct departmental inquiry.

As a protest, the Sindh Bar Council announced full day strike / boycott of Court's Proceedings throughout Mirpurkhas Division i.e. Mirpurkhas, Umerkot and Tharparkar @ Mithi; on Tuesday i.e.
22-08-2023.

Learned Advocates of Mirpurkhas Division are requested not to appear before the Courts on

GM Abbasi Lawyers Progressive Penal Strongly Condemned the Incident happened with Little Angel Fatima.

We belong to society where fear is widespread we never know what next could happen to us , we are the part of that pathetic patriarchal society where the women and girls are r***d . The recent horrible incident occurred in Rani pur in which the little angel was brutally r***d and murdered by criminal fazal shah .

GM Abbasi Lawyers Progressive Penal appeal to Chief justice of Sindh to take a sou mottu and urge I.G Sindh police to look into this matter and arrest the perpetrator immediately .
