A few days ago, a group of law students from Federal Urdu University Karachi approached our law firm in a state of uncertainty after the University administration allegedly imposed an unjustified increase in fees and blocked their portals for non-payment of the additional amount, preventing them from submitting examination forms and placing their academic future at serious risk.

Standing alongside 23 petitioners, We had the privilege of representing the students before the Hon’ble High Court through a Constitutional Petition challenging the impugned actions of the University.

After hearing the matter, the Hon’ble High Court was pleased to grant interim relief by suspending the operation of the additional fee demand and directing the University to accept the examination forms and allow the students to appear in their examinations.

For every young law student, the courtroom is not merely a place of litigation, but a forum where rights, dignity, and future aspirations are protected under the Constitution.
