آپ کا بجلی کا میٹر قانون کے مطابق آپ کی ملکیت ہوتا ہے، اس لیے کوئی بھی واپڈا ملازم اسے اپنی مرضی سے اُتار نہیں سکتا کیونکہ میٹر ہٹانے کے لیے باقاعدہ نوٹس، وجہ اور مکمل قانونی طریقہ کار ضروری ہے؛ اگر کوئی ملازم بغیر اختیار یا ثبوت کے میٹر اُتارنے کی کوشش کرے تو یہ عمل PLD 1988 Lahore 512 کے مطابق غیرقانونی سمجھا جاتا ہے اور ایسے عمل پر آپ دو طرح کی کارروائی کر سکتے ہیں: (1) سول کورٹ میں Suit for Permanent Injunction دائر کر سکتے ہیں تاکہ عدالت واپڈا کو غیرقانونی طور پر میٹر ہٹانے سے روک دے—یہ سوٹ Section 54, Specific Relief Act کے تحت ہوتا ہے؛ (2) کریمنل کارروائی بھی ہوسکتی ہے، کیونکہ بغیر اختیار میٹر اتارنا “مِس چیِف” کے زمرے میں آتا ہے جس پر آپ Section 427 PPC کے تحت ایف آئی آر درج کروا سکتے ہیں، اور اگر ملازم آپ کو زبردستی میٹر دینے پر مجبور کرے تو یہ Criminal Intimidation (Section 506 PPC) بھی بن سکتا ہے۔ قانون واضح کہتا ہے کہ آپ کا میٹر آپ کی ملکیت ہے، کوئی ملازم اسے بغیر نوٹس اور قانونی جواز کے نہیں اُتار سکتا—اپنے حقوق سے باخبر رہیں اور کسی بھی غیرقانونی عمل کے خلاف قانونی قدم ضرور اٹھائیں
