DEFAMATION CASE : -
In Pakistan, defamation is a civil or criminal offense that can be brought against someone who harms the reputation of an individual, group, company, or institution through words or actions:

1. CIVIL DEFAMATION : -

This is defined in the Defamation Ordinance 2002. It can include any false statement or representation that is made orally, in writing, or visually, and that harms the reputation of a person.

2. CRIMINAL DEFAMATION :

This is defined in Section 499 of the Pakistan Penal Code of 1860. It can include any imputation made by words, signs, or visible representations that is intended to harm the reputation of a person.

3. ELECTRONIC DEFAMATION : -

This is defined in the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 (PECA). It can include any information that is intentionally and publicly displayed or transmitted, and that harms the reputation or privacy of a natural person.
To prove defamation in Pakistan, it must be shown that the statement is false, refers to the claimant, and is communicated to at least one other person.

In Pakistan, defamation cases are often handled using criminal remedies, as they are considered to be quicker than civil remedies.

ہتک عزت کا مقدمہ:-

پاکستان میں، ہتک عزت ایک شہری یا فوجداری جرم ہے جو کسی فرد، گروہ، کمپنی، یا ادارے کی ساکھ کو الفاظ یا افعال کے ذریعے نقصان پہنچانے والے کے خلاف لایا جا سکتا ہے:

1. سول ہتک عزت: -

اس کی تعریف ہتک عزت آرڈیننس 2002 میں کی گئی ہے۔ اس میں کوئی بھی جھوٹا بیان یا نمائندگی شامل ہو سکتی ہے جو زبانی، تحریری یا بصری طور پر کی گئی ہو اور جو کسی شخص کی ساکھ کو نقصان پہنچاتی ہو۔

2. مجرمانہ ہتک عزت: -

پاکستان پینل کوڈ 1860 کے سیکشن 499 میں اس کی وضاحت کی گئی ہے۔ اس میں الفاظ، نشانات، یا ظاہری نمائندگی کے ذریعے کی جانے والی کوئی بھی تعبیر شامل ہو سکتی ہے جس کا مقصد کسی شخص کی ساکھ کو نقصان پہنچانا ہے۔

3. الیکٹرانک بدنامی: -

الیکٹرانک جرائم کی روک تھام ایکٹ 2016 (PECA) میں اس کی تعریف کی گئی ہے۔ اس میں ایسی کوئی بھی معلومات شامل ہو سکتی ہے جو جان بوجھ کر اور عوامی طور پر ظاہر یا منتقل کی گئی ہو، اور جو کسی فطری شخص کی ساکھ یا رازداری کو نقصان پہنچاتی ہو۔
پاکستان میں ہتک عزت کو ثابت کرنے کے لیے، یہ ظاہر کرنا ضروری ہے کہ بیان غلط ہے، دعویٰ کرنے والے کی طرف اشارہ کرتا ہے، اور کم از کم ایک دوسرے شخص تک پہنچایا گیا ہے۔

Marriage is a sacred bond in Christianity — but it must also follow the legal process of Pakistan to be valid. Every Christian in Pakistan should know these basic laws for safe and lawful marriage.

💍 1. WHO CAN MARRY?

According to Pakistan Law:
✔ Both bride & groom must be Christian
✔ Minimum age: 18 years (for both male & female)
✔ Marriage must be voluntary — forced marriage is illegal
✔ Person must be single, widowed, or legally divorced

🕊️ 2. WHERE CAN A CHRISTIAN MARRIAGE TAKE PLACE?

A legal Christian marriage can be performed:
✔ Inside a Church
✔ By a Christian Minister / Pastor / Priest
✔ By a Marriage Registrar appointed by the Government
✔ In a licensed place of worship

A church blessing alone is not enough — legal registration is required.

📢 3. MARRIAGE NOTICE / BANNS (Announcement)

Before the marriage, the Church must:

✔ Submit a written marriage notice to the Marriage Registrar
