They say that all great journeys begin with a single step. 45 years ago, the foundational stone for ‘Paracha & Paracha’ was laid by its creator and founder who dreamed of fighting for the rights of the downtrodden and disenfranchised. It was the power of conviction behind the simple dream that enabled this visionary lawyer to make his mark as one of finest lawyer of the country. Justice (r) Abdul Shakoor Paracha established “Paracha & Paracha” in the year 1975. Through an unblemished career of more than 25 years in the field where his focus was on Corporate Law and Civil Litigation, he represented numerous international institutions in litigation. His expertise and reputation can be gauged by the numerous times he was asked to act as Liquidator and Arbitrator in Commercial matters. The pinnacle of success was reached when his services and achievements were recognized and Justice Abdul Shakoor Paracha was elevated as Judge of Lahore High Court, Lahore in 2001, a post that he held for a decade until retirement. His other accolades and achievements including being elected as President District Bar Association, Rawalpindi and President Lahore High Court Bar Association, Rawalpindi Bench and being posted as Federal Secretary, Law and Justice Division speak volumes of the level of respect and recognition he holds amongst his peers. Feeling the need to place his extensive knowledge in the field at the disposal of those seeking justice, Mr. Paracha resumed his place as Senior Partner in the firm.
