Job Title: Tax & Finance Trainee
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Tax & Finance Trainee. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with audits and tax preparations for our clients. This is an entry-level position that provides the opportunity to learn about accounting, auditing, and tax preparation principles and practices. The candidate will work closely with managers and partners, and will gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning and ex*****on of audit engagements for clients in various industries
- Perform audit procedures in accordance with auditing standards and guidelines
- Prepare financial statements and related disclosures
- Assist with tax return preparation and compliance for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
- Research and analyze tax laws and regulations
- Participate in client meetings and communicate effectively with clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and team members
- Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting, auditing, and tax laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- ACCA/ICMA part qualified
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
