SECP Approves Islamic Brokerage Windows for Five Securities Brokers ✅
The five approved brokers are:
• Insight Securities
• Optimus Capital Management
• Value Stocks and Commodities
• Intermarket Securities
• Darson Securities
This initiative allows them to launch dedicated Shariah-compliant brokerage services (Islamic Windows), enabling investors to trade only in halal assets such as constituents of the PSX-KMI All Share Islamic Index, Sukuk, and Islamic ETFs.
The move is expected to boost Islamic finance, attract more retail & institutional investors, and strengthen Pakistan’s ethical capital market.

🇵🇰 Historic Milestone for Pakistan’s Digital Economy!
Pakistan has officially enacted the Virtual Assets Act 2026, marking a complete shift from the previous grey area to a fully regulated and forward-looking framework for virtual assets.
Passed by Parliament and signed into law, this landmark legislation establishes the Pakistan Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (PVARA) as the dedicated, autonomous regulator responsible for licensing, supervising, and overseeing all Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs), exchanges, custodians, wallet providers, and related activities in the country.
The Act aims to:
• Foster innovation and responsible growth in fintech & blockchain
• Strengthen consumer protection and market integrity
• Align Pakistan with global AML/CFT and FATF standards
• Enable coordinated development with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)
This move is expected to unlock new investment opportunities, bring transparency to the sector, and position Pakistan as a progressive digital finance hub in the region.
A new chapter for crypto and virtual assets in Pakistan has begun.
