"Court of Assistant Session Judge is like any other criminal court of a Magistrate; and the
Sessions Judge/Additional Session Judge, can entertain and decide the revision, or bail application after the same is dismissed by an Assistant Sessions Judge"

caselaw at our chamber went through a judgment 2017 P.Cr.L.J 79 passed by Lahore High Court (Rawalpindi Bench) wherein
Principle was settled that,
"If the prosecution fails to prove its case against an accused then the accused person is to be acqitted even if he had taken a plea and thereby had admitted killing the deceased".
