📢 Important Announcement by Punjab Bar Council 📢
The Punjab Bar Council, in its meeting held on 24 January 2026, has issued an important decision regarding the verification of degree.
🔹 It has been decided that no license will be issued to any advocate unless complete verification of academic credentials is carried out.
🔹 All applicants must ensure submission of verified educational documents within the prescribed time.
🔹 The Bar Council has emphasized strict compliance with the Punjab Bar Council Rules, 2023, particularly Rule 91(2).
🔹 In case of false information or incomplete verification, the license may not to be issued.
📌 The decision aims to ensure transparency, credibility, and professionalism in the legal fraternity.
