The Colombian singer said the court had “finally set the record straight” after she had spent eight years “enduring brutal public targeting, orchestrated campaigns to destroy my reputation, and sleepless nights that ultimately impacted my health and my family’s well-being.”

In the ruling, the court said that tax authorities failed to prove Shakira had spent 183 days in Spain in 2011, effectively making her a resident and liable for personal income tax. The court ruled instead that she had spent just 163 days in the country during that financial year.

TAGUM CITY AT NO. 3‼️

🔵 General Santos City and Koronadal City posted the lowest poverty incidence among population among all cities in Mindanao in 2023, according to data from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Both cities, located in South Cotabato, recorded a poverty incidence of 8.2%, placing them at the top of the 20 cities with the lowest share of people living below the poverty threshold.

They were followed by Tagum City and Surigao City at 8.5%, while Tandag City posted 10%. Other major urban centers also made the list, including Cagayan de Oro City at 10.3% and Davao City at 12.3%, indicating relatively lower poverty levels in these areas compared to much of Mindanao.

The PSA defines poverty incidence among population as the proportion of individuals whose income falls below the poverty threshold required to meet basic food and non-food needs.
