In support of BW Shipping Philippines, Inc.’s vision of being Best on Water, DelRosarioLaw’s Saben Loyola and David Valencia attended its professional development seminar. Saben expertly delivered a talk on the Safe Spaces Act focusing on promoting a supportive and safe workplace environment. After the engaging talk of Saben, David gave a high-quality presentation on the major shifts brought by the new terms and conditions of the standard contract of Filipino seafarers as well as the modified seabased rules and regulations.

DelRosario Law’s Ma. Gina Guinto-Ambil, and Denise Luis Cabanos, together with DelRosario Pandiphil’s Razelle España, welcomed Michal Ang and Amit Kamo of Gard during their visit on August 26, 2026. The day began with a round table discussion with Gard and Philippine Coast Guard officials, including Capt. Jomark Angue, Commodore Julian Bayawa, Jr., and Commodore Fideles Salidao, where they exchanged insights on maritime safety, search and rescue, and casualty investigation.

The visit continued with meaningful conversations at DelRosario Law and DelRosario Pandiphil, highlighting the value of continued collaboration and engagement within the maritime community.

DelRosarioLaw’s David Valencia and DelRosarioPandiphil’s Luzviminda Ramiso and Kei Ruz Concepcion visited Orophil Shipping Int’l, Co. Inc.

David gave an extensive lecture on the rights of seafarers and the concomitant obligations of licensed manning agencies and shipowners under the new DMW Standard Employment Contract and 2026 Seabased Rules and Regulations.

As part of knowledge sharing, DelRosario also learned from the employees of the said manning agency on their strong internal processes and best practices.
